Glenn Carter


Glenn Carter is a freelance based glass maker based in Plymouth, England. He is a glass Lecturer at Plymouth College of Art and holds and MVA from the glass department at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. He has commissioned work installed in over thirty five non secular buildings throughout the United Kingdom.

Other work(s) are in the collection of the Rikysmuseum, Amsterdam, The applied Arts Museum, Tallinn, Estonia, Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery and Northlands Glass, Lybster, Scotland.

Glenn has experience of working on historical stained glass from the C13-C20 and was part of the team employed between1995-2000 to work on the conservation and restoration of the prestigious north facing C13 Deans Eye Window at Lincoln Cathedral.
