Erin Dickson

Instructor

Erin Dickson is an artist, researcher and digital specialist based in the UK. Having completed her PhD in 2015, Dickson has worked as a digital specialist since 2010, now as Digital Specialist at Central Saint Martins, London.

Exploring ideas of home through language, culture and vernacular architecture, Dickson’s diverse practice is connected through tongue-in- cheek themes of ‘Britishness’, particularly in relation to the North East. Using a variety of digital and analogue techniques, her works range from time-based performances and photographic glass reliefs, through to monumental sculpture and installation. Her artwork has been exhibited internationally, including as part of the 2015 and 2017 iterations of Glasstress, a collateral event of the Venice Art Biennale.
