DeVeor Rainey is a multidisciplinary artist whose work in jewelry design is grounded in cultural expression, wellness, and creative empowerment. In Fall 2023, she was accepted into The Bead Project at Urban Glass, a prestigious scholarship program for emerging women and gender-expansive artists in New York City. Her talent and dedication led to her being offered an Artist-in-Residence position at Urban Glass in Spring 2024.
DeVeor's artistry was further recognized when she was selected to exhibit her jewelry collection with Urban Sparkle as part of New York Jewelry Fashion Week, showcasing her innovative and culturally rich designs to a wider audience.
A passionate educator, DeVeor has taught bead making at Urban Glass’s Open Studio events and the Building Together initiative, where she engaged the community through accessible and inclusive art-making. She also co-taught a workshop titled Psychedelic Bead with fellow artist Austin Grier, a vibrant session that explored bold design techniques and creative experimentation.
DeVeor continues to bridge art and wellness through her work, offering beading workshops focused on the therapeutic benefits of creativity, emphasizing mindfulness, self-expression, and communal healing.
