Daiqi Cui is a Brooklyn-based glass artist and animator whose work focuses on small sculptural forms, character, and playful expression. With a background in animation and illustration, she approaches beadmaking as a form of visual storytelling, using simple shapes and gestures to create animal-inspired designs in soft glass. Daiqi is a graduate of the Bead Project at UrbanGlass and creates both wearable glass objects and small sculptural works. Her teaching style emphasizes confidence at the torch, curiosity, and helping students discover personality and charm through simple sculptural decisions.
