Amy Lemaire

Amy Lemaire is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She received a BFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago and MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, where she studied painting and contemporary art. She has taught at Salem Community College in New Jersey, and Penland School of Crafts in NC. Her work is exhibited nationally, and included in many public and private collections internationally. Lemaire has shown at SOFA New York, SOFA Chicago, Bijoux at the Norton Museum (FL), Glass Weekend (NJ). Lemaire was a 2015 resident artist at the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC as a part of the Artists’ Studios Program, and the recipient of a 2015 CGCA Flexible Fellowship at Wheaton Arts. Events with Amy Lemaire


This class is an introduction to working and thinking with borosilicate glass. Through a mixture of technical exercises and creative projects, the goal of the course is for students to gain confidence in their ability and be able to create well-crafted objects, translating their ideas into glass successfully.
