Alexander is a Brooklyn-based artist whose practice revolves around glassblowing and kiln casting. Inspired by historical glassmaking techniques and the material and social role that glass has played across times and cultures, his work juxtaposes traditional glass forms with contemporary objects in order to infuse them with enhanced meaning. Alexander holds a BFA in Glass from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and has worked and studied across the USA and internationally.
