British glass society to present a juried exhibition this fall

A juried exhibition entitled “Melting Point” will show some of the finest work by members of Britain’s Contemporary Glass Society. Opening on September 12 at the Pyramid Gallery in York, and running through November 2, 2009, the exhibit will feature work by Tolly Nason, Fiaz Elson, and Catherine Hough. The jury was made up of Pyramid owner Terry Brett, CGS chairperson Victoria Scholes, and glass expert Alan J. Poole (of Dan Klein Associates).
