UrbanSparkle 2025

November 18th – January 9th, 2026
Exhibitions

Reception November 19, from 6-9 PM.

UrbanSparkle is the annual exhibition of UrbanGlass's Store and Gallery featuring jewelers specifically working in the medium of glass. The artists featured in the 2025 edition are Dierdre Maine, Everett Hoffman, Julia Turner, and Nikki Couppee.

Deirdre Maine has been celebrating the cast-offs of the wine industry since she moved to Nuits-Saint-Georges with her family in 2018. Influenced by her immediate environment, she favors simple forms in her designs highlighting both the inherent beauty of glass and the specific past function of her raw material.

Everett Hoffman is a cross-disciplinary artist and educator based in Austin, TX. His current body of work examines contemporary forms of protection and iconographic communication, illuminated through the use of lights, sculptural forms, and body adornment.

Julia Turner's beautifully crafted jewelry pieces are strong, subtle, and a pleasure to wear. She combines organic forms with an architectural approach using a wide range of materials, from silver and gold to wood, steel, and enamel. Each piece is made by hand in her San Francisco studio.

Nikki Couppee creates bold, experimental jewelry using unconventional materials like plastics and enamels. Known for her signature "hologem" aesthetic, her work transforms traditional jewelry into striking, wearable art. By pushing the boundaries of materials and design, Couppee continues to redefine contemporary jewelry with innovation and creativity. Her work has been featured in publications and museum exhibits worldwide.
