In it's fifth year, UrbanSparkle is UrbanGlass's annual exhibition and sale of jewelry made by artists whose practice is focused in glass. We aim to highlight new artists and collections made by folks throughout the glass community. This year we are proud to present Abegael Uffelman, Biba Schutz, Cecilia Lopez-Bravo, Margot Anton, and Sita Syamini.

About the Artists:

Exploring the distortive process of glass marbles, Abegael Uffelman's collection of jewelry sparkles with refracted light unlike anything you've seen. 

Biba Schutz brings a new collection to UrbanGlass that has never before been shown in New York. Making objects for the body, Biba creates a place of mystery, dimension, fluidity and intrigue. 

An alumni of our Bead Project Program, Cecilia Lopez-Bravo creates aquatically-inspired jewelry with pops of color and movement you will be thrilled to wear. 

Margo Anton brings her precision and dedication to life with wearable micro-mosaics inspired by the Grecian coast where she spends part of her year. 

Recent graduate, Sita Syamini is using the encasement of precious metals and gemstones in glass to question material value as one adorns themselves in unrecognizable beauty.
