The Bead Project Trunk Show

Don’t miss The Bead Project Trunk Show on May 20th, from 3- 6PM! 

The Bead Project is a unique scholarship program at UrbanGlass that empowers economically disadvantaged women, femmes, and gender non-conforming individuals in NYC to learn glass beadmaking and entrepreneurship. Over 10 weeks, participants take part in both studio and classroom coursework where they develop skills in a variety of glass bead techniques, jewelry fabrication and design, product marketing, and practical strategies for launching a successful small business.

It’s the perfect opportunity to shop small and support these incredible artists!

The Bead Project is supported in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, New York City Council Member Crystal Hudson, the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, and with support from TD Charitable Foundation and individual donors.
