Spring Fundraising Drive
May 6th – June 1st, 2024We are thrilled to announce our SPRING FUNDRAISING DRIVE. This initiative is crucial for continuing our mission to foster and educate a diverse community of artists, designers, and glass enthusiasts. We are looking to raise $25,000 to support the artists and programs of UrbanGlass. That is 50 donations of $500. A gift of $500 (or more) will help sustain our innovative programming and artistic community. In appreciation as a valued supporter, we would like to offer you the following:
- Two pieces of artist-created glassware, meticulously crafted by our skilled artists especially for this occasion.
- A complimentary one year subscription to Glass: The UrbanGlass Quarterly, our insightful quarterly art journal that explores the latest trends and reflections in the glass art world.
- A special 10% discount at our UrbanGlass store, allowing you to enjoy more of our beautiful creations at a privileged rate.
Over 20 talented artists from the UrbanGlass community have contributed glassware, all available on a first-come, first-served basis. On Saturday, June 1st from 5pm to 7pm at UrbanGlass, explore the collection of glassworks, and choose your gift. From 6pm to 8:30pm sip on a signature spritzer while watching a community glassblowing demo led by artist Malcolm Kriegel, our Lead Studio Technician.
Your support will play a pivotal role in enabling us to continue offering a platform where artists can create, learn, and showcase their work, fostering artistic innovation and community spirit in the heart of Brooklyn.
To participate in this year’s spring fundraiser and claim your exclusive gifts, please donate using this link or contact Alejandra, Development and Events Coordinator, at alejandra@urbanglass.org. We are profoundly grateful for your continued support and enthusiasm for UrbanGlass and the glass arts.
We look forward to celebrating the beauty and versatility of our artists with you on Saturday, June 1st.
