Donor Event: Behind-the-scenes in the UrbanGlass Studios!

April 15th, 2019
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Michiko Sakano |

As a thank you to our generous donors, we invite you to join us after-hours for a behind-the-scenes glimpse into UrbanGlass' 17,000 square foot glass studios in Downtown Brooklyn. Guests will enjoy a drink and watch Brooklyn-based artist Michiko Sakano at work sculpting molten glass.

Or, if you are feeling daring, sign-up for a one-on-one lesson with a skilled glassblowing artist to learn to tame molten glass as you make a simple bowl, sun catcher or paperweight!

We have reached our capacity for hands-on activities, however we are happy for you to join us for a drink and to observe! Please RSVP to Tanner Celestin if you are interested tanner@urbanglass.org or 718-625-3685 x243.
