Donor Event: Aki Sasamoto: Past in a future tense

As a thank you to our generous donors, we invite you to join us for a reception at Bortolami Gallery to see the results of work created by Aki Sasamoto during her 2018 Visiting Artist Fellowship. Hear about Aki's experience at UrbanGlass and how a life-long curiosity led to the creation of a perpetually spinning drinking glass. Aki is currently an Assistant Professor in Sculpture at Yale University, and has been featured on Art21. Her work has also been showcased at SculptureCenter; Whitney Museum of American Art; Jeu de Paume in Paris; The Kitchen and Performa 13.
