Call for Performance Proposals

UrbanGlass seeks proposals from artists and artist collectives for performance works to be presented in the studio in 2017. Artists will receive up to one full day of access to the UrbanGlass studio to practice and up to 1⁄2 tank of molten glass, along with a $1,000 budget that can be allocated towards materials, travel, and an honorarium.

How to submit an application: Send an email to annie@urbanglass.org with subject line "2017 Performance Proposal." In the body of the email please include your name, email address, and phone number and please attach the following (any proposals written in the body of the email will not be accepted): 

• 1 Page Proposal 
• Images 
• Artist CV

Submission deadline: February 3rd, 2017 at midnight EST

Proposals will be evaluated by a panel of artists, curators, and UrbanGlass staff and the selected performance will be scheduled at a time that is mutually convenient in the next year. The selected submissions will be announced and notified by March 2017.
