Join us to celebrate 40 years of UrbanGlass at the 2017 Gala After Party! Enjoy desserts and drinks in our spectacular 17,000 square foot glassblowing studios in Downtown Brooklyn while enjoying Woman Up conceived of by artist Deborah Czeresko and performed by a team of glass blowers. Deborah Czeresko began explorations in glass at UrbanGlass in 1987, where she studied under William Gudenrath. Her interest in large scale glass sculpture led her to Tulane, where she earned an MFA studying with Gene Koss. Czeresko’s experiments in glass have led her to performances, exhibitions, collaborations, commissions and teaching around the world. Her work is included in the permanent collections of Museum of American Glass, Millville, New Jersey; Glasmuseum Ebeltoft, Ebeltoft, Denmark; and Frauenau Glasmuseum, Frauenau, West Germany. She has been a member of the UrbanGlass Board of Directors since 2008.
