Jessica Tsai earned her BFA in sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2011. She worked in New York City as an art fabricator, moldmaker, and museum preparator. She was introduced to glass a few years ago at Urban Glass and attended Salem Community College in 2019 to complete the Scientific Glass Technology program. Living in Philadelphia, she currently fabricates glass jewelry for Blob Blob Studio and is a teacher’s assistant at Salem Community College for the glass art flameworking classes. In her own work she focuses on sculpting in glass with detail and realism.
