Under the artistic name HAN MADE, Hannah Martin works with glass, wool, and yarn as her primary mediums to create wearable pieces and home accessories. Combining these mediums in cohesive works of art, she explores ways the materials complement and enhance each other despite their differences. Born and raised near Atlanta, Georgia, she received her BA in Anthropology - with a focus in the cultural and medical subfields - from Georgia State University in 2020 and is now an artist working out of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Her anthropological lens provides her with a dynamic view of the human experience and is an essential tool in her work as she explores her connection to herself and the world around her through her art. Her work is lighthearted in spirit and seeks to leave an impact of pure joy and human connection through creating positivity and playfulness.
