Brian Pike and Jen Elek met in 1990 at Alfred University where Pike earned his MFA and Elek her BFA. Brian Pike has been blowing glass for 34 years. He currently lives on Whidbey Island, WA where he creates artwork that focuses on his love of nature. Jen has been blowing glass for 24 years. She lives in South Seattle, her work is known for it’s minimal pop aesthetic, vibrant glass colors and use of neon. Both artists are outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
