Andrew is a professional glass maker in Brooklyn, New York, who is constantly amazed by glass's ability to be so many contradictory things at once. Since first blowing glass in 1997 Andrew felt an instant intimacy with the material. He not only collaborates to make custom sculpture, lighting, and installation pieces, but also continues to evolve his own glassmaking craft. Hughes holds a degree in Glass from the Rhode Island School of Design.
