BLOW

Actor Jeremy Piven, famous for his role as Ari Gold on HBO’s series Entourage, will be embarking on the world of reality TV as Entourage finishes up its final season. His production company, Luscious Mayhem is teaming up with Bischoff Hervey Entertainment to produce Blow, a reality series following glassblower and New Orleans artist Joshua Cohen and his cohorts as they create glass cathedrals and deal with overbearing clients.

Cohen is known for creating glass works that look like their still in a liquid state. His products range from large scale glass cathedrals to smaller ornate glass vessels. The works tend to play with movement, or in other words Cohen likes to make his work look like it’s a living moving thing. In his website, Cohen explains, “ My job is to short circuit the mind, where the viewer does not ‘know’ what they are seeing.” Sometimes that takes on a more literal interpretation like in this kinetic sound sculpture.

In the mean time Luscious Mayhem and Bischoff Hervey Entertainment are still shopping around for a network to showcase this series. No reports yet on when and where the show will appear. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
