Help UrbanGlass continue to provide unparalleled access to the creative possibilities of glass with your donation of artwork to the 2020 UrbanGlass Gala & Auction! Our Gala is a celebratory evening when we connect with our major donors, enthusiastic supporters and the luminaries of the contemporary art and design worlds, all while raising important funds to sustain the unique programming that can only be found at UrbanGlass. Your donation will help keep UrbanGlass’ programs and studios accessible to over 12,000 people who enjoy them each year! 


DEADLINES:

ASAP: Let us know you would like to support UrbanGlass by completing the form attached. Questions and/or mailed responses should be directed to Event Coordinator, Maria Lymberis (Full mailing details are at the end of this page.)

Friday, March 27, 2020: Artwork must be at UrbanGlass if your work requires professional photography. 

Monday, April 13, 2020: Donation form and hi-res images (if available) must be submitted to Maria Lymberis at maria@fremontblueevents.com.

Friday, April 17, 2020: Deadline for all artworks to arrive at UrbanGlass. (Please note: Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance costs.)

May 4-11, 2020: Artwork Preview in Agnes Varis Art Center Gallery.

May 12, 2020: UrbanGlass Gala & Auction from 6:00 to 11:00 PM. 


BENEFITS FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION: 

Sales Commission
Donating Artists may choose to:
A) Receive 30% of the selling price of your artwork
OR 
B)* Donate 100% of the proceeds and receive one complimentary ticket to the May 12, 2020 UrbanGlass Gala & Auction, which includes cocktails, a seated dinner, and afterparty in the studio! *This offer only applies to artwork with an Estimated Retail Value  greater than or equal to $750.00. Tickets are not-transferable*

Professional Photography
If you are unable to provide a high-resolution photograph of your donated artwork, UrbanGlass will arrange professional photography: the work must be at UrbanGlass no later than Friday March 27, 2020. We will email you a hi-res image of your work after the event.

If you prefer to supply an image of your own, you must submit a high resolution jpg or tif file at a minimum of 300 dpi at 6x6”, with your work, no later than April 13, 2020.

Promotion
Paddle8.com: For two weeks leading up to the auction, images of all donated artworks, descriptions and brief artist biographies will be included on Paddle8.com, our website auction partner.  
Live Preview: UrbanGlass will exhibit all donated works in our ground floor Agnes Varis Art Center the week before the event.
Brochure: Artwork donations will be listed on the UrbanGlass website and in the Gala brochure.

Return of Unsold Work
In the event a donated work is unsold, this piece will be available for pickup after May 31, 2020. Shortly after the event we will advise you if your piece has not sold, and arrange its return.

This Art Donation Form represents the entire agreement between the parties and replaces any prior agreements or forms entered into in connection with the subject artwork. Your signature above acknowledges your understanding that, upon receipt of work by UrbanGlass’ agent, all artwork becomes the property of UrbanGlass unless noted otherwise above.
