Humble Beginnings: Introduction to Glassblowing

Get your start in hot glass with this introductory course to learn the basics. We’ll get everyone comfortable with moving around the shop while learning a range of glassblowing techniques. Through teamwork and demonstrations, students will gain a solid foundation in this exciting art form to build on in the future.

There is no class on April 27, 2019.

This class has access to Student Hours for the semester, dedicated hours open to student use. Glass processes take practice, so utilize this free time in our studios to learn! For details email Kellie at kelliek@urbanglass.org.

Robert Panepinto

Robert Panepinto has been involved in glass-making at Urban Glass and the New York Metro area for the past twenty years. He is currently attending Ramapo College in New Jersey where he is working to complete a degree in Contemporary Art. Rob lives in New Jersey with his wife Jennifer and son Bobby.
