Glassblowing 101: Weekend in Color

March 21st - March 22nd
Joshua Raiffe |

Designed for students of all ages, this introductory glassblowing class focuses on playing with color in the hot shop. Starting with a basic foundation of skills, students will learn about safety, tools, equipment, and start to work with the material. We will then begin deconstructing traditional methods of applying glass color and invent entirely unique processes of our own. We will tap into the genius of your own creativity, which has not yet been inundated by formalities and expectations. Let’s peel back the veil of tradition, and allow natural creativity to flourish!

Open to all ages 11 and up.
