Open up new possibilities in glassworking or refine the skills needed to finish existing glass pieces in this four-week introductory coldworking course. Classes will cover carving, cutting, sandblasting, and polishing glass, and provide insight into the equipment and processes of the cold shop. Students can incorporate these techniques into their own artistic practices in a myriad of ways, from removing the punty on a blown piece, to carving a sculpture from a blank piece of glass.
Open to all levels.

Students enrolled in this course have access to Student Hours- scheduled time outside of class to practice and work on projects throughout the semester. For any questions regarding this access please contact Kellie at kelliek@urbanglass.org.
