Artists around the world for millennia have practiced beadmaking.  In glass, beads are formed by heating rods of colored glass over a flame and winding the softened glass around a metal tool called a mandrel.  The process absorbs you. This course covers basic flame working skills using a torch to melt rods of glass into beads. Techniques covered include dots, stringers, twisty, raking, basic shapes and more.
