Jim Butler is an artist living in New York who works in a variety of media. Primarily known as a painter, Jim also creates using photography, printmaking, sculpture and experimental methods of glass fabrication. In 2007 he was awarded a Urban Invites from UrbanGlass for a collaborative glass project shown at the Museum of Northwest Art. He is the Chair of the Program In Studio Art at Middlebury College, VT, and also writes and freelance curates.
