Call For Interns And Volunteers

UrbanGlass, the leading resource for both aspiring and emerging artists wishing to work with glass, is currently seeking motivated and passionate interns and volunteers to join our team. College credit is available for enrolled college students. Learn about making glass in the first and largest studio in Ft. Greene Brooklyn.

Urbanite Steering Committee
The Urbanites are an assemblage of young professionals dedicated to the exploration and appreciation of glass as a medium of artistic expression. The USC helps organize events and educational experiences for Urbanite members.

Event Volunteer
Assists in preparation and production of
UrbanGlass Gala, Open Houses, performances, community events and other special events

Education Volunteer
Promotes a deeper understanding and appreciation of UrbanGlass by providing detailed information about the organization and creating great experiences for our visitors. Volunteers answer questions, facilitate conversations and lead activities with visitors in the studio and gallery.

Development Volunteer
Researches corporate and foundation grant opportunities and will assist with writing grant applications.

Marketing Volunteer
Researches, develops and cultivates new audiences for UrbanGlass by maintaining social networking sites, distributing marketing materials and updating event and education postings online.

Photography Volunteer
Photographs events, classes, and/or objects as needed. Must have own camera.

Web Volunteer
Help create content for the UrbanGlass website. Applicants with knowledge of basic HTML, Photoshop, You-Tube and Flickr preferred.
